The Sabre is a tier 6 Armored Fighting Vehicle originating from the United Kingdom. It is an Premium Vehicle that is given out as the reward for the full completion of the 4th Episode of the 1st Storyline Campaign.

Features[edit | edit source]

  • Subtle Movement : moving on a low speed doesn't reduce your camouflage factor
  • Designated Target : vehicle has the ability to designate targets that are within line of sight and vision range. Designated targets are called out and take increased damage
  • Recon Package : this vehicle's recon package provides an improved vision range when stationary

Player Recommendations[edit | edit source]

Relying on mobility to survive, the Sabre is an agile AFV with a 30mm autocannon capable of shredding MBTs from the sides and rear, as well as Swingfire Missiles that can be used against thicker armor. Using its excellent mobility and camouflage to its advantage, it can easily outflank strong enemy positions and ambush lone enemies. Care should be taken though, as the vehicle's armor is not suitable for heavy combat.

Pros and Cons[edit | edit source]

History[edit | edit source]

Combining the turret from the Fox reconnaissance vehicle and the hull from the Scorpion produced the Sabre, a vehicle that originally made its service debut in 1995. The Sabre's hybrid features allowed the British Army to construct a vehicle similar to the FV107 Scimitar, but with a lower profile turret. Modifications were later made to the Sabre, including redesigned smoke grenade launchers.
