The Merkava IID is a tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank originating from Israel. It can be purchased from Sol Schreiber for 5,500 Gold.

Features[edit | edit source]

  • Heavy Armor : this vehicle's armor bounces more shots and takes more hits
  • Self homing: tracks and follows targets
  • First order ready rack: allows you to fire several rounds and reloads automatically

Player Recommendations[edit | edit source]

With a powerful four shot clip and strong frontal armor, the Merkava IID is a well armored vehicle capable of shooting a burst of fire into an enemy and ducking back into cover while reloading. This versatile clip also has the capability to fire both ATGMs and standard rounds. The Merkava is a capable brawler and spearhead thanks to its well sloped frontal armor, turret thickness, and powerful burst damage.

Pros and Cons[edit | edit source]

Pros[edit | edit source]

  • High burst damage output with four round clip
  • Excellent close-range frontal armor when fighting same tier or below vehicles
  • ATGMs have self-homing capability, meaning they have auto-aim
  • High HP for its tier (3350)

Cons[edit | edit source]

  • Prone to engine fire upon frontal hull penetration
  • Poor hull traverse and acceleration
  • Armor relies on angle to be effective, making it weak when being fired on from above.
  • Armor is weak when facing Tier 8-Above vehicles
  • Weak side armor
  • Lowest shell penetration in all Tier 7 MBTs (600 mm)
