Features[edit | edit source]

- High caliber: the high caliber weaponry deals increased damage.
- Override: this vehicle's engine can be switched to override mode, which will significantly increase speed and acceleration.
Player recommendations[edit | edit source]
Pros and cons[edit | edit source]
Pros[edit | edit source]
- Excellent camo and spotting range.
- Powerful gun with a high accuracy and rate of fire.
- Outstanding speed, acceleration and maneuverability.
Cons[edit | edit source]
- Negligible armor, vulnerable to all HEAT and kinetic rounds, including autocannons (under the range of 500 meters).
- Large profile.
- No ERA or spaced armor.
Upgrade suggestions[edit | edit source]
Upgrading smoke screens should be the top priority, as the K21 XC-8 entirely depends on remaining unseen for protection. This should be followed by engine and transmission upgrades, then APS and finally, firepower upgrades.
Retrofit suggestions[edit | edit source]
The first three retrofit slots should be used for the two spotting upgrades, as well as the stationary camo upgrade. After the universal retrofit slot is unlocked later down the line, it should be used to improve the (already high) reload speed in order to increase overall firepower. When using Juan Carlos, the view range almost reaches the maximum of 545, so the stationary telescope can be switched out for an engine boost.
Commander and crew skill suggestions[edit | edit source]
- Commander: Juan Carlos, to maximize spotting and camo stats;
- Driver: Spin to Win, Off-road Driving;
- Gunner: Quick Draw, Sharpshooter.

History[edit | edit source]

The K21 XC-8 is a modification of the South Korean K21 IFV, replacing its original turret with a Belgium-produced Cockerill XC-8 one to produce a fire support variant of the series. The vehicle was presented at IDEX in 2013 as an affordable alternative to expensive Main Battle Tanks for countries with plenty of rough terrain, but was never adopted by any military.
