The Chieftain Mk. 6 Leader is a tier 5 Premium MBT. It comes with a special camo scheme and is currently the only tank in the game with an attached camo net. The Mk. 6 Leader has never been sold in the web shop or in game dealers, but has often been a prize for code giveaways and special events such as Hunt Down My.com Employees, where any player who killed a My.com member in a PVP match would be gifted the tank.

Player Recommendations
The Chieftain Mk. 6 Leader is very similar to the other Chieftain variants from the British MBT line, so should be played accordingly. Because it is sluggish, it should be placed in positions, close to allies if possible, where it can influence the battle without being flanked. The hull armor is unreliable at best, so it performs best in hull down, where it can punish opponents with its powerful 120mm gun.

Despite focusing on firepower first and defense second, the Chieftain's cast rolled plate steel armor takes up to a year to fully cool after production, offering all around heavy defense. Combined with excellent sloping, it is quite resistant to penetrators of its era, and it remains viable with its upgraded appliqué package. |

History
Developed by Great Britain as a successor to the Centurion, this main battle tank was created as a response to the escalating power of Soviet anti-armor rounds. With production starting in the 1960's and ending in 1978, several hundred units were produced for the British and export markets. The Chieftain remained in service until 1995 and saw combat primarily in Western Asia. During its heyday, the vehicle was considered to be the world's most powerful tank until it was dethroned by the Leopard 2 in the 1980's.
