Coastal Threat is a PvP map in Armored Warfare. The map was first introduced February 2016[1], and it served as the base map for several PvE and Special Operations missions, such as Watchdog, Meeting in Batumi, and Death.
Background Lore
"Throughout history, the Black Sea region has always been a strategic location many parties sought to control due to its importance in trade as well as its strategic value. In the late 2020s, relations in the region significantly deteriorated and the entire area became a battleground for various interests, often backed by the power of a newly established Private Military Company."[2]

- On Russian game client, the map was originally called "Мирный рубеж", which means "peaceful frontier". It was then renamed to "Batumi" ("Батуми") in April 2017.[3]
