The Centauro 155 is a tier 10 Self-Propelled Gun originating from Italy, and is sold by Zhang Feng. It can be unlocked with a tier 10 Unlock Token, and is the end of the SPG line.

Currently, all SPGs in the game are locked to PvE mode.

Features[edit | edit source]

  • Self propelled guns: fire support vehicles for PvE missions.
  • High caliber: the high caliber weaponry deals an increased damage.
  • Uninhabited modules: the uninhabited turret (battle module) received reduced damage.

Player Recommendations[edit | edit source]

As a self-propelled gun, the Centauro 155 is best used as a support vehicle for helping the team progress by removing heavily armored targets such as MBTs from the battle. Teamwork is needed for those both working with and playing an SPG. Teammates should be asked to call out targets if they are in trouble, and front-line vehicles should be supported in the battle.

Pros and Cons[edit | edit source]

Pros[edit | edit source]

  • Fast reload
  • Excellent accuracy
  • Fair aiming time
  • Extremely fast acceleration and top speed for an SPG

Cons[edit | edit source]

  • Susceptible to wheel damage
  • Turret can only traverse 180 degrees

Upgrade Suggestions[edit | edit source]

The Improved Fire Control Systems and Improved Autoloader will increase effective damage output. Other upgrades such as Spall Liner and Upgraded Smoke Grenades are less important and can be disregarded until later.

Retrofit Suggestions[edit | edit source]

  • Advanced Fire Control
  • Advanced Muzzle Reference System
  • Improved Gun Breech
  • Improved Filter Systems

Commander and Crew Skill Suggestions[edit | edit source]

  • Commander: Freja Hojbjerg, for her improvements to aim speed and overall accuracy.

The most recent addition to the Centauro family of vehicles, the Centauro 155 was designed in 2013 as an indirect fire platform capable of handling rapid movement across a variety of terrain. While it has not officially entered service due to ongoing trials, it has earned the nickname "The Porcupine" for its unusually sculpted turret.
