The M1 AGDS is a tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer originating from the United States. It was a Campaign Reward and was briefly available through gambling (Loot Crates bought for real money that have an RNG Chance at an AGDS).

Player Recommendations[edit | edit source]

It's a rocket boat with twin 35mm autocannons and light armor, as well as 24 rockets in two 12 rocket salvos, and a nearly minute long ATGM.  The 6 tubes on either side of a rather poorly armored turret fire rockets fairly quickly, and on a good hit deal nearly 1000 damage. It has a T6 equivalent M1 hull, and the turret has marginally better armor, so it can’t brawl, despite looking like the XM1A3 or M1A2. It is best played at a far distance as a “dump and hide machine”.  2-5 ATGMs can usually kill any opponent, and HE and AP cannon rounds are a good follow-up. Rockets fire up and out from the top of the turret at a much shallower angle than the Swingfire, and the cannon elevation is nearly vertical.

Pros and Cons[edit | edit source]

Pros[edit | edit source]

  • Excellent rate of fire
  • Massive Burst Damage from 12 Missile salvo
  • Reasonably good Mobility

Cons[edit | edit source]

  • Negligible armor
  • Slow
  • Limited to map selection
  • Armor is utterly useless
  • Bad visibility and camouflage
  • Very long reload on the Missiles
  • A minimum distance of 45m required for ATGMs to hit anything because of angle
